Combining classical Hatha and Iyengar styles to improve balance, strengthen and enhance flexibility.
These mixed style classes challenge you beyond your limits in a safe and playful way.
Perfect if you are brand new or more experienced and want to deepen your practice.
Key benefits:
Keep it comfortable and flexible. Opt for breathable clothing that allows for easy movement, so you can flow through poses effortlessly. Sports wear is fine.
While you’re welcome to bring your trusty mat, don’t worry if you don’t have one. We’ve got you covered (literally!). We provide mats, blocks & straps, so you can focus on finding your Zen without lugging extra baggage. For online practice, it’s recommended to use a mat or at least a cushioned surface for beginners.
Absolutely not! Yoga is all about meeting yourself where you are. Flexibility is not a prerequisite, but rather a beautiful journey you embark upon during your practice. So, grab those tight hamstrings and join us on the mat!
Absolutely! All classes cater to practitioners of all levels, including yoga newbies. You will be guided through each pose, offering modifications and adjustments to ensure you get the most out of your practice.
Well, yoga isn’t your typical weight loss boot camp, but it can certainly contribute to your overall well-being. Yoga embraces a holistic approach, helping you build strength, balance, and mindfulness. Plus, you might just find yourself making healthier choices off the mat too!
No. Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India 5,000 years ago. While it has historical roots in Hinduism, it’s not a religious activity by nature. Think of it as a universal language of self-exploration and mindfulness, suitable for people from all cultural backgrounds.
You sure can, but hold off on that feast! It’s generally recommended to have a light meal or snack a few hours before your class to avoid any tummy troubles. Graceful forward bends are much easier without a belly full of burritos.
Of course! Yoga is a practice open for everyone, regardless of gender. Men are more than welcome to join our classes and experience the wonderful benefits of stretching, strengthening, and finding balance in both body and mind.
No worries, toe-touching is not a compulsory requirement here! Yoga isn’t about how far you can stretch; it’s about connecting with yourself, quieting the mind, and finding inner peace. So, embrace those tight hamstrings and let’s focus on the journey, not just the destination.
Hugely. Yoga has been proven to be a fantastic stress buster and anxiety reliever. Through mindful movement and deep breathing, you’ll learn to find peace amidst life’s chaos. And remember, even the most serene yogis have occasional ‘OMG’ moments – it’s all part of the human experience!
